Renewable and compostable clamshell containers are perfect for cold foods like sandwiches and salads. They are made from PLA, a plant-based plastic with excellent end-of-life benefits and a positive environmental footprint. These containers are crafted from renewable resources and contain PLA, a plant-based plastic that meets ASTM standards for composability. Ideal for showcasing cold foods, our PLA products are compostable in commercial compost facilities, although they are not suitable for home composting.

Each case includes 240 clear 6" clamshell containers (80 per pack, 3 packs per case) that measure 6" x 6" x 3" and are created with renewable resources. Specifically designed for cold food items such as sandwiches and salads, these containers are made from renewable, plant-based PLA, a compostable bioplastic derived from plant sugars. They are both renewable and compostable, being BPI certified compostable and ASTM compliant.
